We the undersigned call on Wandsworth Council to:
- Clarify urgently whether Hammersmith & Fulham fulfilled its legal duty to consult and publish its formal response.
- If it did not, then Wandsworth Council needs to take Hammersmith & Fulham to court and have the scheme halted.
- If Wandsworth Council cannot get their Labour colleagues in Hammersmith & Fulham to scrap the scheme it needs to urgently request that the Mayor of London instruct TfL to intervene using its legal powers to direct local authorities.
- Wandsworth Council to immediately reintroduce two lane traffic across Wandsworth Bridge northbound as soon as possible to improve the traffic flow.
- Wandsworth Council to commence monitoring and report on displacement traffic levels and air quality as a direct consequence of the new scheme.
